Jo's Army Merrick March
Troops it's time to head South and discover the secrets of Scotland and the stunning Galloway Hills.
On this Robust adventure we will summit Merrick and tackle Galloway's hills and Lochs, taking in the stunning scenery Scotland has to offer.
Why not make a weekend of this trip, Robustours can point you in the right direction for B&B, camping barns or campsites.
This event is in aid of the charity Scottish Association of Mental Health.
Jo (Jonathan) Mackenzie was a much loved character, remembered first and foremost for the immense pride he had in his family, as well as his warmth and incredible humour.
On 6th October 2018, a few weeks before his 50th birthday, Jo died by suicide. Jo had fought a lifelong and daily battle with his mental health, something he kept hidden from many.
Jo's Army will climb Merrick in his memory, to raise awareness of mental health, and to raise money for the Scottish Association of Mental Health. We want to help other men, women and children who are affected by mental health issues.
